Ford vs. Ferrari-Kids’ Movie Review
Ford vs. Ferrari equals fun!!! Carroll Shelby (Matt Damen) is an amazing race car driver, though due to a heart condition he is forced to quit racing. Meanwhile, at the Ford Motor Company, Lee Iacocca (Jon Bernthall) proposes that the company start making race cars to attract younger drivers. They try to partner with Ferrari but that falls through. So Ford decides to hire Shelby to build their new, fast car, and in turn Shelby hires Ken Miles (Christian Bale), an extremely talented driver to race that fast car. Ford v Ferrari (also known as Le Mans ’66) is a fact-based racing drama about events leading up to and including the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Maleficent: Mistress of Evil-Kids’ Movie Review
“She said yes!” Everyone is thrilled because Prince Philip and Aurora, Queen of the Moors, are getting married. Finally Phillip’s kingdom of Ulstead and Aurora’s fairy kingdom of the Moors will be united. However, the prince’s mother, Queen Ingrith (Michelle Pfeiffer), is not happy with this engagement, and eventually chaos ensues. The queen not only wants to destroy Maleficent, but also all the fairies. Maleficent: Mistress of Evil is Disney’s live-action sequel to the 2014 retelling of the beloved fairy tale Sleeping Beauty.

Ad Astra-Kids’ Movie Review
Roy McBride (Brad Pitt) is an aeronautics engineer. He’s married, and has no children. When Roy was 16 years old his father, Clifford McBride (Tommy Lee Jones), was selected to head the Lima Project, a manned mission into space to look for aliens. When Clifford goes missing Roy eventually goes on a mission to find his father in Ad Astra, which is Latin for “through hardships to the stars.” They didn’t have the best father/son relationship, but Roy eventually realizes how much he and his father have in common, and he desperately wants to make peace with him. Ad Astra is a sci-fi, emotional drama about a father/son relationship.

Overcomer-Kids’ Movie Review
“Who am I?” is a key question throughout the film, Overcomer. It’s a thought provoking and inspiring question, especially for high school basketball coach John Harrison (Alex Kendrick). John’s future is uncertain as their town’s largest manufacturing plant shuts down unexpectedly and hundreds of people move away. As John is reassigned to coach the cross country team his life dramatically changes. He doesn’t know anything about running and is particularly out of shape. John reluctantly takes on the role as head cross country coach with only one runner on the team; a teenage girl named Hannah Scott. Since Hannah has asthma, running can be difficult at times, though through prayers and inspired words by her coach and loved ones Hannah pushes herself to the limit. Not only does coach John Harrison’s life change, but Hannah Scott’s life changes as well. Hannah discovers her faith, forgiveness, and the love of God. Overcomer is a faith-based sports drama, one for the whole family.

- Overall, this is a wonderful and heartfelt faith-based sports drama. Great for the whole family as it will spark some inspiring conversations.
The Art of Racing in the Rain-Kids’ Movie Review
Enzo (voiced by Kevin Costner) is a beautiful Golden Retriever. He is a very loyal and dedicated dog to his owner, Formula One race car driver Denny Swift (Milo Ventimiglia). Enzo is there when Denny meets his wife Eve (Amanda Seyfried), and is there at the birth of their daughter, Zoe (Ryan Kiera Armstrong). Sadly, the family goes through an extremely challenging situation, while Enzo is observing it all. He ultimately tries to figure out mankind hoping to be reincarnated as a human. The Art of Racing in the Rain is a very emotional drama based on the bestselling novel by Garth Stein.
