Tall Girl-Kids Movie Review
Jodi (Ava Michelle) is a six-foot-one 16-year-old high school girl. She’s a talented pianist, and a very intelligent girl who just wants to fit in socially. Things get complicated for Jodi when the new student Stig (Luke Eisner), appears at school. Stig is a tall, handsome Swedish exchange student who Jodi is instantly smitten over. She even starts to wear her hair down and dresses up for school. However, the drama begins when all the other girls in her grade like Stig as well…though someone has a crush on Jodi too. Tall Girl is an original Netflix movie appropriate for kids ages 10 and up.

Emma-Kids Movie Review
Emma Woodhouse (Anya Taylor-Joy) is a charming young aristocratic twenty year old. Sadly, her mother passed away when she was a child so she lives with her father and manages his estate. However, Emma tends to get bored. After she arranges the marriage of her governess, Emma needs a new project so she decides to find a suitor for Harriet Smith. Harriet is a young woman from the local boarding school for underprivileged girls. Emma hopes to raise Harriet’s place in society and fine her the perfect man. The drama begins when Emma tends to meddle a little too much and finds herself in quit the dilemma. Emma is an adaptation of Jane Austen’s beloved classic novel, Emma.

Faith, Hope & Love is a heartwarming romantic comedy about Jimmy Hope (Robert Krantz), a widower, and father of two girls. When Jimmy meets his daughters’ dance instructor, divorcée Faith Turley ( Dancing with the Stars’ dancer Peta Murgatroyd), his life changes. Jimmy and Faith are both going through some trying times. Jimmy’s job is on the line, he must land the account of a dating app company or he’ll lose his job. Meanwhile, Faith needs to win a ballroom dance competition to save her dance studio. When Jimmy agrees to be Faith’s dance partner, the couples perspective on life changes as they discover faith, hope and love.

Miracle-Kids’ Movie Review
“USA”, “USA”, “USA”….we hear the crowd chanting “USA,” with pure joy and delight as they beat the Soviet Union in the 1980 Winter Olympics. Miracle is based on a true story about a group of amateur hockey players led by Herb Brooks (Kurt Russell), a very intense, drill- sergeant type of coach. The film highlights the teams path to victory, not only with hockey but with the life lessons that their coach instills in them. Brooks stresses teamwork and chemistry over talent. These amazing young men became one of the last group of amateurs sent by the United States to play ice hockey. It’s known as the “Miracle of Ice.”

Stargirl-Kids Movie Review: Kids’ Movie Review
There’s a new girl in school, and her name is Stargirl (Grace VanderWaal, 2016 America’s Got Talent winner) . Stargirl enrolls in a small-town high school; she was previously home schooled. Initially, the free-spirited teen has a hard time making friends. She dresses and acts differently from all the other kids. However, things change during a Friday night football game. At halftime Stargirl sings a folk song with her ukulele. The team scores a touchdown immediately after hearing the beautiful sound of the new girls’ voice. Stargirl becomes the good luck charm for the entire school. Stargirl is based on a Young Adult novel of the same name.
