Pretty In Pink-Kids’ Movie Review
Pretty In Pink centers around a high school girl named Andie (Molly Ringwald). Andie comes from a blue collar family, she works at a record store, and her best friend is a quirky boy at school named Duckie. Andie’s life dramatically changes when an extremely wealthy and very popular boy at school asks her out. Initially things are amazing, however she eventually begins to realize that dating someone from a completely different background has many challenges. She especially has a hard time dealing with his snobby friends, who aren’t very nice to the girl on the other side of the tracks. Pretty In Pink is a 1986 John Hughes film.
