Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shaw-Kids’ Movie Review

American, Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson), is a loyal and trusted agent in the Diplomatic Security Service. Shaw (Jason Statham) is an outcast and former British spy. Hobbs and Shaw have had their share of fights and disagreements, however, things change when terrorist M16 agent cyborg Brixton Lore (Idris Elba) controls a virus that could that could destroy mankind. Now former enemies Hobbs and Shaw team up to take down the cyborg and save the world.  Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw is a spin-off of the popular Fast & Furious series.

•  There’s a lot of fighting where characters are punched, hit, shot to death and tortured.
• There are explosions, car chases and car crashes.
• We see a cyborg’s back sliced open while he’s having an operation.
• A character is threatened with a tattoo gun.

• We hear the f-word.  We also hear “s–t,” “ass,” “a-hole,” “b–ch,” “bastard,” “goddamn,” “d–k,” “hell.

Drug and Alcohol Content: Mild

•  Characters are shown drinking beer and whiskey.

Will Kids Like It? Yes

• Fans of the Fast & Furious series will most likely enjoy this spin off.

Overall this is an action packed film. Parents need to be aware of the excessive violence and profane language throughout the film.
