    Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom-Kids’ Movie Review

    Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) and Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) are back three years after the destruction of the Jurassic World theme park. When they discover that a volcano is predicted to erupt on the island where the park was located, they return to that island and try and save the remaining dinosaurs. While on their trip they encounter a precarious situation which threatens the world.

    • A couple kiss passionately.

    • There are a lot of intense and scary scenes throughout the film. Character’s are eaten, dismembered and torn apart by dinosaurs.
    • One scene shows a dinosaur attempting to kill a young girl.
    • There are bloody fights between the dinosaurs.
    • Humans are shown using tranquilizer guns and automatic guns.

    Moderate

    • We hear “sh-t,” “h—,” “b–ch,” “d–n, “a–hole, and “b–tard.”

    Drug and Alcohol Content: Mild

    • We see characters drinking beer.

    Will Kids Like It? Yes

    • I interviewed some pre-teens who liked the movie and saw the first as well.

    Overall this is an intense, action packed film. Depending on the child this is appropriate for kids ages 13 and up. Younger viewers may be scared of the violent scenes and frightening creatures.
