    The Perfect Date-Kids’ Movie Review

“Who do you want to become?” That’s what the Yale admissions officer says to Brooks Rattigan (Noah Centineo). Brooks is a senior in high school, he’s smart, ambitious and determined to go to Yale. He’s aware that his single dad won’t be able pay the tuition, and he doesn’t even know what he wants to major in. However he’s obsessed about attending Yale University. Brooks’s life changes when he agrees, and gets paid, to take his friend’s cousin, Celia (Laura Marano), to her private-school dance.  He decides to develop an app called “Stand-In. He’s the stand in, or fake date, for school dances, art shows, and even a rodeo. Brooks pretends to be whatever the girls want him to be. However, things get complicated when he discovers he has feeling for one of his pretend dates. The Perfect Date is a fun and entertaining Netflix original film for pre-teens and teens.
